Rouen has warm summers and rather chilly winters, being situated in Northern France. Thus the coldest months are January and December, with average winter temperatures of about 3ºC. Generally, though, in usual year conditions, the city is welcoming. The warmest months are August and July, and the average summer temperature in Rouen is 17ºC.
You can also enjoy strolls on the old streets and take a peek at the houses and civilization signs both in late spring and early autumn, when the evenings are mild and the mornings still shiny. Spring is also when most of the street events in Roeun actually occur.
